If you have concerns about the well being or safety of a child, contact the Children Services Access Line Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or call 911 if emergency or after normal business hours and weekends.
The Children Services Access / Intake worker gathers information for both mandatory and voluntary services for children in St. Croix County.
An Access / Intake worker will conduct an initial interview either by phone or face-to-face to gather information and be able to make informed decisions regarding a Child Protection Report, a referral to Youth Community Support Services, and / or to the Birth to 3 Program. The Access / Intake worker may offer the families additional information to other resources and supports available in the community.
After the Access team gathers information from a reporter either by a phone or an in person interview, the documented information is reviewed and social workers may be assigned cases to investigate.
Informational reports may also be received via email or fax it to 715-246-8412.
