Light Bulbs

Fluorescent Light Bulbs

These contain a small amount of mercury and CANNOT safely be thrown in the trash.

  • Fluorescent tube bulbs are the long, cylindrical glass tubes you see in overhead lights, but also come in circular and U-shaped fluorescent tubes.
  • Compact fluorescent (CFL) bulbs are easily identified by their hallmark curlicue design.

Please bring your fluorescent tubes and CFLs to these locations for proper recycling

Other Light Bulbs

Incandescent, Halogen and LED or Light-Emitting Diode light bulbs do not contain hazardous chemicals, so it is safe to dispose of them in the trash. However, they do contain some recyclable components and can also be brought to the locations. Call first for fees.
