Medication

St. Croix County residents are encouraged to bring expired, unwanted or unused medications to collection locations throughout the county for proper disposal.

This program is anonymous and there is no cost to drop off medications.

Accepted Items

Accepted items include:

  • Inhalers and Sprays
  • Medicated Liquids
  • Pet Medications
  • Prescription and Over-the-Counter Medications
  • Vitamins

Liquids, creams, gels, etc. can remain in their original container; remove name or label and place in a zip-top plastic bag.

Not Accepted

The program will not accept:

  • Mercury Thermometers
  • Nebulizers
  • Oxygen Tanks
  • Radioactive Cancer Medications
  • Sharps
