[ARCHIVED] Healthy Brain Book Club

St. Croix and Pierce County Aging and Disability Resource Centers (ADRC) have teamed up to present an exciting opportunity - the Healthy Brain Book Club! This virtual book club will meet on Wednesdays from August 16 to September 13. Over the course of the four-week program, two chapters will be covered each week, providing time for exploration, and understanding of the material.

  • August 16 – September 13
  • Wednesdays, 11 am - noon
  • Once a week virtual meeting
  • All participants will receive a free copy of the book.

About the Book

The book club's featured title is "High-Octane Brain: 5 Science-Based Steps to Sharpen Your Memory and Reduce Your Risk of Alzheimer's" written by board-certified neuropsychologist, Dr. Michelle Braun. The book inspires readers to make lasting improvements by understanding brain health and providing guidance through the maze of advice on supplements, brain games, nutrition, and exercise.
