Memorial Day Message from the CVSO

 Dear Veterans and Families,

Today on Memorial Day we honor those service members who paid the ultimate price for our country. A day where we can take a moment to appreciate and remember the sacrifices of our fallen heroes. We can reflect on their willingness to sacrifice themselves for a greater cause. A day where we can honor the Gold Star family members and friends and acknowledge their grief of losing a loved one who died serving our country. We owe them all a debt of gratitude.

We can honor our fallen comrades by living a life of purpose with a joyful spirit and to ensure their sacrifice is not forgotten. I am thankful for all the Veteran Service Organizations in St. Croix County and patriotic citizens who support the legacies of our fallen brothers and sisters in arms. I call on everyone to support the missions of the American Legion, VFW and other service organizations who help keep and cherish the memories of our lost soldiers. Have a wonderful Memorial Day!

To all our veterans and their families, thank you for your dedication and service. Your commitment to our country is deeply appreciated, and we are here to support you.
