From the St. Croix County Veterans Services Office
Memorial Day Message from the CVSODear Veterans and Families, On this Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. It is a time for reflection—a moment to recognize their courage, their sacrifice, and the immeasurable cost of freedom. We also stand with Gold Star families and friends who continue to carry the deep and lasting grief of losing a loved one in uniform. Their sacrifice and strength are never forgotten. The best way we can honor our fallen heroes is to live with purpose, carry their legacy forward, and support one another. I’m grateful for the many Veteran Service Organizations throughout St. Croix County—such as the American Legion, VFW, and others—that work to preserve the memory of those we have lost and to support our living veterans and their families. Thank you to every veteran and military family in our community. Your service and resilience continue to inspire us all. We are here to serve you, today and every day. - Phillip Landgraf - St. Croix County Veterans Service Director
