Are you looking for a way to give back to our veterans? We need compassionate and reliable volunteers to help transport veterans to their medical appointments at the VA in Minneapolis. Your time can make a significant difference in the lives of those who have served our country.

Why Volunteer?

• Use Our Van: Volunteers will use our van to transport veterans, so you don’t have to worry about putting extra miles on your personal vehicle.
• Help Our Veterans: By driving veterans to their VA appointments, you’re helping to ensure they receive the healthcare they need.
• Flexible Commitment: We only accept morning appointments, Monday through Friday. You can choose the days that work best for you—no pressure to commit every day.
• Perks for Drivers: For each ride, drivers receive $60 at the end of the month. Additionally, drivers enjoy a free breakfast or lunch from the VA.

Note: Last year, our Veteran’s Service Office and dedicated volunteers made 250 trips, helping 450 veterans get to their appointments.

How It Works

• Pick Up and Drop Off: Our volunteers pick veterans up from their homes, take them to their VA appointments, and drop them back off when they’re done. It’s a simple and rewarding way to support those who have served.
• Free for Veterans: Rides are completely free for veterans, so you’re providing a critical service at no cost to them.
