[ARCHIVED] St. Croix County Hazardous Waste Voucher Program

Used Hazardous Waste Stacked Up

Can’t wait for the Clean Sweep event to get rid of your household, agricultural or commercial hazardous waste? A voucher up to $40 is available to help subsidize costs when St. Croix residents bring their hazardous waste directly to Logistics Recycling (LRI) in Somerset. Once you provide a materials list, LRI will give you a cost estimate and schedule a drop-off appointment.

Click here for more details and to get your voucher number.

Paints and stains will not be covered under the voucher program.  They can be brought to the collection event in September. See our Collection Events page and scroll down to Hazardous Waste Collection Event for more details. Once LATEX paint is no longer in a liquid form it is not considered hazardous waste and can be thrown in the trash. Use saw dust, kitty litter or a paint hardener to turn paint into a solid.
