The Village of Deer Park is updating the Village’s Comprehensive Plan, last adopted in 2011. The plan update process is being facilitated by St. Croix County staff under the guidance of the Village Board, Plan Commission, and Village staff. The process began in November 2025 and is projected to be completed by late summer of 2026.

A Comprehensive Plan is a series of maps, goals and objectives that guides the future growth of a jurisdiction. The Plan update will cover a variety of topics including:
Wisconsin Statute § 66.1001 requires Comprehensive Plans to be updated at least once every 10 years and outlines procedures for adopting those updates. These statutory requirements will guide the process used for this plan update.
