County Clerk

The County Clerk is a Constitutional Officer elected every four years by the voters of St. Croix County.


The County Clerk has both statutory and non-statutory responsibilities. Following are duties and services provided in the County Clerks' office:


  • Election Administration
  • Administrative Services and Records Retention for the County Board of Supervisors
  • Marriage Licenses
  • Domestic Partnership Terminations
  • Dog License Issuance to Municipalities
  • Acceptance of Passport Applications
  • Work Permits - Minors Under the Age of 16
  • Timber Cutting Notices
