All burning requires a courtesy call to the Communications Center. This call does not replace calling your own municipality for the burning permit. The call to the Emergency Communications center serves as informational only, in the event we need to contact you or we receive a call from a neighbor or passer-by reporting a fire.

Calling Local Municipalities Before Burning

All residents within villages and cities should call your local municipal authority before burning. Local jurisdictions may have specific rules regarding burning. Each Township within St. Croix County adopts its own regulations for granting permission to burn within its borders.

Red Flag Burning Ban Days

All Fire Districts (covers all municipalities) in St. Croix County will participate in any red flag days announced by the National Weather Service.
